Several facilities in the capital are remain improved. One of the Jakarta Provincial Government programs is arranging the slum area.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said Jakarta Provincial Government is relocating the residents to flats. This way should decrease the slum area at riverbank. They get several facilities at the flat.
“Now they have better house, chance for business. It’s solution to escape from poverty,” he said, Friday (9/16).
City Keeps Controlling Building at RiverbankIn order to reduce traffic jam, prohibiting motorcycle passing Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat heading to Jalan MH Thamrin has been also applied.
“I ever met foreign tourists. They came here to Jakarta just wanted to see traffic jam. Yes, our city needs more improvement to compete with other cities,” he closed.
